Great response to "Inspired by Heart“ Campaign! Intesa Sanpaolo Bank BiH records constant growth in cashless payments on Visa Inspire card
Sarajevo, September 5th 2016. The end of two-month “Inspired by Heart” EDS campaign, jointly rolled out by Intesa Sanpaolo Bank BiH and Visa, was celebrated at unique closing event in Sarajevo city centre. Over 100 Visa Inspire cardholders and media gathered in Ferhadija Street to colour paintings that will be delivered to several children hospitals.
Initially launched by Intesa Sanpaolo Bank BiH in 2013, and joined by Visa in 2014 project aims at motivating consumers to opt for everyday cashless payments, as even smallest transaction secures big contribution to Campaign’s Fund.
This year, over the 2 months period, from 15 June 2016 to 15 August 2016, for each transaction made by Visa Inspire card, regardless of the amount and with no additional fee, Bank donated 0,10 BAM. Collected funds are dedicated for buying equipment for pediatric departments in hospitals in Sarajevo, Tuzla, Travnik, Mostar and Banja Luka. Besides donation in equipment, each hospital will get one unique picture, sketched by young Bosnian artist and coloured by Visa Inspire cardholders.
As Intesa Sanpaolo Bank BiH announced, during Campaign period Bank raised BAM 24.000, what is an increase comparing to BAM 22.000 raised during the last, the three-month campaign.
„Campaign "Inspired by heart“ was very successful from the very beginning, and this year results are event better. Our clients appreciate this kind of projects and they are always willing to support campaigns aiming to help other people. We are sure that children, who are staying at hospitals separated from their families, deserve attention of all of us, and therefore we decided to make their stay as much comfortable and pleasant as possible", said Lejla Dizdarevic, Head of Department of PR and marketing communications in Intesa Sanpaolo Bank BiH stressing out that the Bank records constant growth in payments on Visa Inspire card, especially when it comes to contactless transactions which are on rise.
Biljana Petrusevska Trajkovska, Visa Country Manager for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo said:
“We are happy to be part of project ‘Inspired by Heart’, initiated by our longstanding client and partner Intesa Sanpaolo Bank BiH. Visa goal is to provide people fast, simple and secure everyday payments and I’m glad to see that we inspired cardholders to use their payment cards and support the project. Visa records increase in cashless payments on Visa cards in Bosnia and Herzegovina, not only during special campaigns, what is encouraging as it indicates growing everyday card usage and displacing cash. We believe that moving forward electronic payments will continue to grow as more customers and merchants become aware of all the benefits of cashless payments, while innovative products, services and solutions that Visa provide, such as contactless, can speed up shift in consumer behaviour.”
This year, RSG radio, one of the leading Radio stations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, joined the project and supported the Campaign as media partner.
